Earn your 32-hour Basic Mediation Training certificate and increase your personal and professional capacities for communication and working with conflict. Experienced and supportive trainers and coaches. Training meets (and exceeds) Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court mediator training guidelines. This series provides essential training for anyone who wants to work more effectively with difference, to de-escalate tense situations, to communicate effectively with others, to collaboratively seek problem-solving solutions that meet multiple needs, and to develop more harmony, ease and effectiveness in workplace and personal settings. Course includes modules in Approaches to Conflict, Interpersonal Communication Skills, Collaborative Problem-Solving, Working with Tough Interpersonal Dynamics, and The Mediation Process. Successful completion of all coursework will result in a Basic Mediation Training certificate which meets all Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court mediator training guidelines. All sessions are live and facilitated by experienced instructors; hands-on practice opportunities, feedback and mentoring are provided to all students, along with written materials and recommendations for next steps in developing core skills.
