Small Group Fitness Training -The "Moving-Up" Program HLTH 071.51, CRN 16740


Class has begun
The "Moving-Up" class is designed to help individuals move beyond the basics of safe and effective fitness programming. In this six week class, Participants will learn and advanced exercises and proper use of exercise tools such as therapy balls, body bars, bosu balls, etc. Topics include exercise progressions, muscle balancing, isolation vs. compound exercises, and exercises to enhance posture, balance, and performance. Students should dress for movement 9Seatpants, yoga pants, shorts, t-shirts) and hand carry clean sneakers to the gym. This class is designed for individuals who are comfortable with the fundamentals of exercise and have basic knowledge of the musculoskeletal system.
