College Application Organization CRER 102.51, CRN 36885

$50

This class is recommended for high school students and their guardians. This introductory course provides a comprehensive overview of the college application process. Participants will explore key components, including application essays, extracurricular activities, volunteer experiences, and letters of recommendation. The course is designed to help students and families determine where to begin and how to stay organized throughout the process. Participants will create a personalized organizational system, including a binder and structured Google Docs, to manage essay prompts, scholarship applications, and important deadlines efficiently. In addition to this course, two complementary classes (Scholarship Search and Researching Summer Programs) are being offered to further enhance participants' knowledge and understanding. Although this course is beneficial as a standalone offering, enrollment in all three courses will provide the most comprehensive educational experience to prepare high schoolers for their next steps. A suggested materials list will be emailed to registered participants before the start of the class. Instructor: Milissa Daniels.
