Scholarship Search CRER 103.51, CRN 36887

$50

This class is recommended for high school students and their guardians. It is never too early to begin exploring scholarship opportunities. This course introduces participants to effective strategies for identifying scholarships aligned with their personal profile, interests, and intended field of study.Students and parents will learn how to broaden their understanding of eligibility criteria, recognizing that scholarships are awarded for a wide range of achievements beyond academics. Volunteer work, community involvement, organizational affiliations, and individual talents can all play a significant role in securing financial support for college. In addition to this course, two complementary classes (College Application Organization and Researching Summer Programs) are being offered to further enhance participants' knowledge and understanding. Although this course is beneficial as a standalone offering, enrollment in all three courses will provide the most comprehensive educational experience to prepare high schoolers for their next steps. A suggested materials list will be emailed to registered participants before the start of the class. Instructor: Milissa Daniels.
